Deleting temporary files can help free up storage space and improve system performance. Here's how you can remove them in Windows:

  1. Open Settings: Press Windows + I to open Settings.
  2. Navigate to Storage: In Settings, go to System and select Storage.
  3. Temporary Files: Under the Storage section, click on Temporary files.
  4. Select Files to Delete: Check the box next to Temporary files and any other types of files you want to remove (like system files or previous Windows installations).
  5. Delete Files: Click Remove files to delete the selected temporary files.

Alternatively, you can use the Disk Cleanup tool for older versions of Windows. Just search for Disk Cleanup in the Start menu, select the drive, and choose which temporary files to delete.
